Library Resource Centre

Open from 8:30am to 4:30pm

The College Library and Resource Centre provides support to the learning and recreational needs of students, staff and the wider college community. Trained library staff are able to provide immediate access to information; printed and electronic.

Resources include a current selection of fiction, nonfiction and picture books, graphic novels, newspapers, magazines and periodicals. Students and staff have ready access to current issues folders, Newscan, Echo and Newstext Online and topical displays. ClickView offers a School Bag facility where a variety of videos and clips can be saved and viewed at home.

The Library Resource Centre is the place to borrow laptops, cameras and data projectors and to do some photocopying, laminating and binding. There is a dedicated year 12 study zone, a lounge area for quiet reading, a computer lab and two learning spaces. Students can also access points to keep their laptops charged.

The after school Homework Program, with afternoon tea supplied, is held every Wednesday at 3.30 to 4.30pm.

Many students make use of the library at lunchtimes. Activities include board and cards games, reading and private study.

Helpful library staff are available to assist students and teachers with any of their resource needs.
